Job Title: General Operative

As a General Operative in our pharmaceutical wholesaler and manufacturer, you will play a crucial role in completing vital GMP/GDP tasks in the Goods Inwards, Production, and/or Dispatch departments. This dynamic role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to maintaining elevated levels of concentration, a willingness to learn and achieve, and a dedication to upholding patient safety and quality standards within the organisation.

Punctual and reliable, with a strong work ethic.  

Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving processes and technologies. 

Demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

Leaving Certificate or equivalent.  

Previous GMP/GDP experience desirable but not essential.  

Previous experience in a fast-paced and regulated industry desirable but not essential.  

 

What you will have responsibility for:

Assisting with Goods Inwards activities of checking in, processing and storing batches once delivered, while reporting any discrepancies 

 

Assisting with Production activities of product repackaging tasks by hand or machine, complying with strict and clear instructions, while reporting any deviations.  

 

Assisting with Dispatch activities of picking and checking orders in a timely manner, completing stock checks, all while maintaining a safe, clean and organised

warehouse 

 

Ensuring that work areas and equipment are consistently clean and free from any unnecessary materials, products, product residues, or documentation not

required for the ongoing operations.  

 

Handle all materials and products in strict accordance with written procedures or instructions, and document accurately any work carried out as necessary,

complying with Good Documentation Practices.   

 

Practice effective and timely communication with all team members and supervisors within a fast-paced working environment

 

Follow safety protocols and adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workplace, including the correct use of safety wear, such as safety shoes, high-visibility

vests, overcoats, hair nets, and gloves when necessary.   

 

Reporting to the relevant area manager.
